Medical Assistant

Acloche is seeking candidates for a Medical Assistant opportunity in the Hilliard area.

Position: Certified medical Assistant

Shift: 1st shift hours (staggered) 8am to 6pm

Pay: $17.00 to start up to - $19.00 based upon experience

Position Summary:

To prepare patients and exam room for visits with physicians

Summary Primary Responsibilities:

Prep and ensure exam rooms are clean & tidy

Handle inventory and inspection of exam rooms stock and supply

Patient escort and vitals

Assist physicians as needed

Perform certain tests for pregnancy and report in EMR/and or physician

Cleaning and sterilizing of instruments

Prepare rooms in full, schedules/equipment/cleaning/closing locking procedures

Handle disposal of biohazard material

Prepare education materials as needed

Perform nurse visits as indicated

Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications:

HSD, Medical Office Assistant Program/Certification

Preference 1 year practical experience in physician/hospital environment

Equipment knowledge of - Doppler/minor surgical equip., scales, oxygen machine etc, autoclave, ambu-bag, ultrasound, etc.

Interpersonal Skills:

Organization and Detail oriented

Flexibility to accept changes in area

Confidentiality is paramount

Time management ability to effectively set priorities and complete tasks

Problem solving skills to identify and effectively solve problems and to help staff members solve problems

HSD, Medical Office Assistant Program/Certification
