Senior Accountant (hybrid)

Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and other financial records.

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

Prepare and file tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities.

Provide financial analysis and reporting to management, including variance analysis and trend analysis.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software and other tools.

Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders to address accounting issues and provide financial advice and guidance.

Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and industry trends.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.

CPA designation or progress towards CPA certification preferred.

3+ years of experience in accounting or related field.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
