Storage System Admin

Title: Storage system Admin Level II Location: College Park, MD Centuria, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), has been delivering IT, Engineering, and Scientific solutions to the Federal Government since 2002.

This role will directly support the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Weather Service (NWS) National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) Central Operations (NCO) division for the compute, storage, and networking within the data centers that support the Integrated Dissemination Program (IDP) and Compute Farms (CFs). This partnership will allow the Government to concentrate on its core missions, while also leveraging private sector expertise to manage state-of-the-art data center infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities: Storage Administrative activities include: •Reviewing and monitoring LUNs for usage and performance •Resolve daily issues on Storage and escalate if assistance required •Applying firmware updates as required •Troubleshoot issues on Storage controller NetApp and IBM •Must be available for 24x7 on call rotation •Resolve help desk tickets •Must be able to work with oversite to execute against a set of requirements Job Requirements: •Should have working knowledge of NetApp and IBM storage controllers and enclosures •Ability to identify and troubleshoot and resolve tickets opened for routine tasks.

•Create or expand LUNs as requested.
