Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) - Lake City, FL
Location: Lake City, FL
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Sign-On Bonus: $15k (with a 2-year commitment).
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse for our facility in Lake City, FL. Our hospital has been serving the communities of Columbia, Hamilton, and Suwannee counties for over 60 years and is part of a leading healthcare network in North Florida. We offer a range of medical and surgical programs, including 24-hour emergency care, heart care, interventional cardiology, orthopedics, cancer care, imaging, and rehabilitation services.

Position Responsibilities:
Manage the nursing care of critically ill patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Carry out physician orders, administer medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
Provide respiratory and ventilator management and monitoring.
Coordinate with all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition using computerized documentation systems.
Instruct and educate patients and families.
Coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
Provide age and culturally appropriate care, orient, and mentor new staff members.
Qualifications:
Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN required.
Current FL RN License or appropriate compact licensure (active FL RN license required within 90 days if compact license held).
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
CCRN preferred.
At least one year of acute care experience required, with ICU experience or ICU float experience preferred.
Additional Information:
Shifts: Nights, 7-7.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year ICU experience or ICU float experience.
Salary Range: $26 (2yr) - $34 (10yr).
Sign-On Bonus: $15k (with a 2-year commitment).
Relocation Assistance: Case by case basis.
Night Shift Differential: $3.25/h
Weekend Differential: $2/h
