Job Title: Service Technician

Work Location: United-Hughes, Levittown, PA

Job Summary

The main objective of the Onsite Service Technician is to proactively maintain equipment, perform repairs, onsite installation and test tasks while also representing the company in a professional and safe manner.

Essential Duties

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

Tie workflow to schedule

Manage all onsite installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks

Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions

Product timely and detailed service reports

Document processes

Operate vehicle in a safe manner and use field automation systems

Follow all company procedures and protocols

Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations and briefings

Interact with customers in a professional manner

Work safely and follow appropriate policies, and government mandated guidelines for safe handling and work processes

Wear appropriate and approved clothing and safety equipment

Coordinate, and prioritize needs and tasks as they change

Meet industry performance and quality standards

Cross departmental engagement with internal support teams to promote customer service, good teamwork and help meet company goals

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience: Packaging Machinery Preferred

Education: Minimum high school diploma

Licenses: driver's license in good standing

Specific skills:

Mechanical ability

Ability to read instructions and diagrams

Familiarity with RSLogix a benefit.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to reading of related work documents, such as bills of lading, orders, documents, etc.

Moderate to heavy lifting up to 50lbs may be required (some industrial machine assistance available)
