Senior Electrical Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in satellite design, ground system communications, and prototyping, with expertise in PCB design using Altium and schematic capture. The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a key role in the design, analysis, testing, and implementation of satellite systems, contributing to the success of our projects and advancing our technological capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of satellite communication systems, including RF communication systems, signal processing, and antenna design.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into detailed technical specifications and design solutions.

Utilize Altium Designer for PCB layout design, ensuring optimal signal integrity, power distribution, and manufacturability.

Conduct thorough analysis and testing of hardware prototypes, identifying and resolving technical issues to meet performance objectives.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes, tools, and methodologies.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating new developments into project designs and strategies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.

5+ years of experience in satellite design, ground system communications, and prototyping.

Proficiency in PCB design software, particularly Altium Designer, and schematic capture tools.

Strong understanding of RF communication systems, signal processing, and antenna design principles.

Demonstrated ability to lead and contribute to cross-functional teams, from concept development to product deployment.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Active Top Secret security clearance with Polygraph.
