Title: Senior Java Fullstack Developer

Duration: 3-6 Months (Contract to Hire)

Location: McLean, VA Hybrid (Mon & Fri remote/Tue-Wed-Thu onsite)

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Java Fullstack Developer to join our dynamic team working with a prestigious banking client. As a Java Fullstack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise-level front end applications primarily using Angular or React frameworks. Your expertise in Java programming, AWS Aurora, and Snowflake will be crucial in delivering high-quality solutions that meet our client's needs and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain enterprise front end applications using Angular or React frameworks.

Design and implement scalable and high-performance Java-based backend systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Ensure the responsiveness and performance of applications.

Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in both front end and back end systems.

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our development processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Java Fullstack Developer or similar role.

Strong proficiency in Java programming language.

Experience with enterprise front end development using Angular or React frameworks.

Hands-on experience with AWS Aurora for database management.

Familiarity with Snowflake data warehousing platform.

Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Certifications in AWS and/or Snowflake.

Experience working in the banking or financial services industry.
