CAD Designer

Metric Search is looking for a (Senior) CAD Designer with Water/Wastewater or Land Development experience on behalf of a fast-growing engineering firm. The client is open to designers with any level of experience.

Job Description:

As a CAD Designer, you will work closely with the team of engineers and PMs to aid in the design of water/wastewater infrastructure and land development projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

Create detailed drawings, plans, and layouts using CAD software for various projects:

- Water and wastewater projects: pipelines, treatment plants, pump stations, and distribution systems

- Land development projects: residential, commercial, subdivisions, etc.

Collaborating with engineers and designers to ensure that designs meet project requirements

Documenting and tracking changes to designs and drawings

Conducting quality control checks to ensure that designs meet quality standards

Requirements:

1+ year(s) of experience as a CAD Technician

Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D

Understanding of engineering principles and design standards

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
