Job Description:

we are actively seeking an energetic Senior General Ledger Accountant to assist in GL accounting functions, including, but not limited to, month-end close processes and account reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, compliance with U.S. GAAP and FAR cost principles, and internal and external financial reporting.

Role and Responsibilities:

GL Accountant will report to the Assistant Controller and work with the Controller and Accounting Manager to support finance and accounting functions for the enterprise

Take responsibility for general ledger and account reconciliations, ensuring proper accounting treatment and resolution of variances

Assist with month-end close procedures to ensure accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting to upper management

Support compliance with local and state tax regulations, DCAA cost principles

Assist in preparing documentation and supporting schedules for DCAA and annual financial statement audits

Ability to identify and implement improvements in processes and internal control functions

Here's what you need:

3-5 years General Ledger experience,

Experience with Deltek Costpoint a must

Sufficient knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP) and DCAA cost accounting requirements Proficiency in Excel and other

Microsoft Office tools

Bonus points if you have:

Public accounting experience a plus

Active clearance

Security Clearance:

Ability to obtain a DOD security clearance

Associates or equivalent experience
