The Role

The Head of Feasibility and Trial Optimization will be part of the Clinical Operations Leadership Team at the level of Vice President. This role will be the responsible for setting up a Feasibility Centre of Excellence in the company, and will be accountable for scenario planning, patient enrolment and retention, as well as site identification and study start-up.

Main Responsibilities

Establish and lead Feasibility Center of Excellence, collaborating with preferred CROs for data-driven trial planning

Drive country placement discussions, providing recommendations aligned with business goals

Conduct protocol feasibility assessments, optimizing trial delivery strategies

Oversee enrollment modeling and recruitment strategies, ensuring accurate timelines

Facilitate site identification and streamline study start-up processes

Implement efficient processes and technologies to support start-up execution

Drive patient recruitment and retention strategies, selecting portfolio-level approaches

Analyze therapeutic area connections to optimize portfolio-level study planning

Requirements

Masters or PhD education

15+ years experience in drug development (start-up to final study report)

8+ years leadership experience building feasibility and start-up teams

Proficiency in clinical trial feasibility, scenario planning, and data analysis

Proven track record of delivering results within budget and timelines, with cost optimization expertise

Extensive experience in patient recruitment campaigns

Flexibility to travel
