I have been engaged by global Solar EPC firm on the search for an PV Designer who have been ranked in the top 25 of Solar EPCs in the US, over past 10 years they have built distributed generation and utility-scale projects totaling 4.5GW.

As a Solar Designer, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, contributing to our team in various capacities:

Responsibilities:

Assist with updating drawings and specifications.

Document field records for quality, production, labor, and materials.

Aid in inventory and tracking time sheets, costs, and quantities.

Prepare quantity takeoffs.

Monitor the quality plan, including conducting quality inspections.

Conduct basic safety inspections and training, identifying and correcting safety hazards.

Assist the project team with subtrade partner management, including managing requests for information, shop drawings, changes, billings, and workforce planning.

Assist with schedules and monitor performance.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, architecture, trade, or a related field.

0-1 years of progressive experience as a drafter/designer is preferred.

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D.

Working knowledge of PVsyst considered an asset.

Ability to learn and apply basic construction principles, specifications, and procedures.

Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with stakeholders, including supervisors and subtrade partners.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
