Data Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

Hands on experience in data warehouse, data lake, data engineering projects

Hands on experience on AWS Data Engineering and Data Ingestion

In depth knowledge of following services on AWS platform

Glue, EMR, Lambda

PySPARK, SQL, Athena, Redshift

Airflow orchestration

Understanding of Agile scrum process

Knowledge in Databricks.

Experience in supporting, maintaining, monitoring AWS Cloud jobs and workflows (L3 support activities that include manual and ad-hoc job executions)

Must have good AWS platform problem solving skills

Work with Project teams to understand and accommodate application architecture and the App's specific requirements for AWS Cloud

Experience migrating on-premises applications to AWS cloud

Avid attention to details, testing and documentation.
