Network Engineer

Pay Range: $60 - $70/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

The Network Engineer is a member of the Network Security Operations team consisting of several other.

Network Engineers who provide design consultation, configuration and implementation services.

The Network Engineer is responsible for firewall, IPS, routing, switching and load-balancing offerings Duties include, but are not limited, to:

Diagnose and resolve complex network problems and improve network performance and reliability.

Provide technical leadership and direction for security services initiatives

Support and troubleshoot existing network infrastructure, routers, switches, IPS, various vendor firewalls, and load-balancers.

Participate in customer consulting meetings to gather business requirements and developed detailed designs based on those requirements.

Participate in Incident Response activities.

As a CrowdStrike/Tanium Engineer, you will play a critical role in our security operations, overseeing CrowdStrike and Tanium deployments, upgrades, and maintenance

You’ll also be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying security processes and procedures.

You will have the opportunity to make a real impact on our security posture and protect us from malicious threats

Maintain, upgrade, and support CrowdStrike and Tanium deployments

Monitor the security of the systems and investigate any potential cyber-attacks

Provide technical expertise on CrowdStrike and Tanium products

Manage Windows and Linux operating systems

Collaborate with teams across the organization

Establish best practices for security operations

Produce timely and accurate reports on security performance

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong technical background in security and administration of CrowdStrike and Tanium products.

You should have a passion for problem-solving and be able to collaborate with teams across the organization.

5+ years of experience in a security or systems engineering role.

2+ years of experience with CrowdStrike and Tanium products.

Experience with scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.

Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

Ability to design, develop, and deploy security processes and procedures.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with teams across the organization.
