Java EE Developer

Location/Remote: Hybrid Remote in Atlanta, GA 30328 (i.e., 2 days onsite/week)

Employment Type: Direct Hire / Permanent / Full-time

Compensation: up to $110k/year (depending on experience)

We are seeking a talented mid-level Java Developer with expertise in building RESTful APIs and server-side business logic using Java EE / Jakarta EE / Spring, and any relational/SQL database. As a Backend Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust backend systems that power our web applications.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

4+ years of web application development experience using Java

Proficiency in relational database systems such as Oracle, MySQL, or similar.

Any front-end development experience specific to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Solid understanding of web technologies and protocols including HTTP, JSON, and REST.

Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

Knowledge of software development best practices and methodologies.

Preferred Skills (not required):

Experience with J2EE/Java EE/Jakarta EE components like Java Servlets, JSP, JDBC and EJB
