Software Engineer

Job type: Full-time, on-site

Our client is seeking an experienced software engineer to join their team in D.C. The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing high-quality applications. They will be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

Responsibilities

Communicate with team members and customer on day-to-day basis

Provide subject matter expertise, in regard to development, to the team and the customer

Create and optimize all functions of the core platform to establish a strong infrastructure

Research, design, test, evaluate, and implement technologies related to Kubernetes, containerization and other infrastructures

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field and active TS/SCI security clearance

Development experience with 7+ years of experience in software engineering and/or development

Experience with software development languages such as .NET, Java, Python, and Go; as well as experience working in a DevSecOps environment

Experience working with Source Code repositories and CI/CD pipeline solutions such as Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, and GitHub

Experience with container orchestration tools (Rancher, OpenShift, etc.)

Ability to work in D.C. on client-site 5 days per week
