Job Summary The candidate will maintain electrical equipment and motors up to 200hp, perform welding tasks as needed, troubleshoot electrical systems and plan for future electrical needs of the company. They must also conduct safety inspections and install new equipment while providing their own tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, repair, test, troubleshoot, replace, and maintain plant electrical equipment
Oversee electrical work from minor repairs to major projects
Inspect completed work for conformance with requirements of local building and safety codes
Monitor and assist in the planning of daily and future scheduled plant repairs
Assist with scheduling major electrical projects from ordering parts to performing the work in a timely and cost effective manner
Investigate component failures, communicating results to Operations and Associates to aid in increased levels of safe production
Assist with the development of budget projections and capital expenditures
Assist with electrical and mechanical projects, installations and shut downs
Assist in developing and maintaining a preventative and predictive maintenance program
Maintain effective communication with plant operational personnel, maintenance and supervision
Help with all other plant maintenance as needed
Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions consistent with extreme heat, cold, wetness, dryness, dust and noisy conditions

Electrical Experience within an Industrial Setting
