Remote IT Business Quality Analyst

TCI has an immediate need for an IT Business Quality Analyst (BQA) in LaGrange, KY. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. This is not a C2C opportunity.

This position requires US Citizenship or Permanent Residence. May consider 100% remote for strong candidates.

SUMMARY

The Business Quality Analyst will perform both BA and QA functions and will work as a member of a Software development scrum team. This individual is part of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process from beginning to end. At the start, the BQA is working with operations management to understand business needs, formulating a strategy for achieving key objectives and deliverables. The BQA identifies and defines problems and drives resolution focused the root cause. This role is a member of a project team that designs, documents, develops and delivers business solutions that have a direct impact on the Company’s performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Create business requirements, user stories and documentation for the scrum team to deliver a final product that satisfies business objectives and user expectations.

Create and participate in the testing strategy.

Identify and document problems utilizing root cause analysis, and prioritize potential solutions based on risk and impact. Validate the recommended solutions.

Create training materials associated with deliverables.

Communicate with a broad range of staff to understand requirements and issues, as well as to share updates.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in a business, technology, or related field.

4+ years of experience gathering requirements and creating user stories.

2+ years of experience writing and executing test cases.

2+ solid years of experience creating SQL queries.

Must have experience with medical claims forms.
