Join our Client’s Team as a Sales Market Development Manager!

Position: Sales Market Development Manager (outside sales).

Location: Home-office based in Charlotte, NC.

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Travel: (50 - 60%) with travel encompassing VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, TN, AL, and MS

Join a global leader in the pressure relief and safety valve manufacturing industry, with over 200 years of technical expertise?

Our client, a renowned German pressure relief and safety valve manufacturer headquartered in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a dynamic individual to contribute to the success of their Sales Market Development team.

Responsibilities:

Engagement: Cultivate relationships with end-users, OEM accounts, and Engineering, Procurement, and Constructors (EPCs) throughout the assigned territory.

Analysis: Maintain monthly reports on target accounts, project pursuits, sales activities, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions.

Collaboration: Work closely with assigned representatives, assemblers, and Local Authorized Repair Centers (LARCs) to support their sales efforts.

Follow-up: Ensure timely completion of action items and provide ongoing feedback to management on sales progress.

Training: Conduct product and service training sessions for customers as required.

Requirements:

**Must possess very relevant Control Valves and Safety Relief Valves background.**

-Both are engineered products (not commodities) and require a similar selling process and structure

Education: Bachelor’s degree in science or business.

Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel) with strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Experience: Previous experience in distributor or reseller environments preferred.

Attributes: Self-driven, results-oriented individual with the ability to work autonomously.

Location: Reside within the specified territory with a valid driver's license and authorization to work in the US.
