Systems Specialist

Core Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters

Troubleshoot and resolve Kubernetes-related issues

Work with 3rd party vendors and developers to implement Kubernetes-based solutions

Automate Kubernetes tasks and workflows

Ensure the security and reliability of Kubernetes clusters and applications

Communicates regularly, openly and honestly with manager, team leads, and business partners using appropriate and effective methods. Raises concerns and issues appropriately.

Preform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Required Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of (3) years relevant experience or

Associate's Degree and a minimum of (5) years relevant experience or

High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of (7) years relevant experience

Relevant Work Experience

3+ years of experience with Kubernetes Required

Experience with RedHat OpenShift and/or Rancher and Infrastructure Management Required

Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts and architecture Required

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd Required

Experience with networking, monitoring, and logging in Kubernetes Required

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Required

Strong communication and teamwork skills Required

Licenses & Certifications

Driver's License Required

Other Physical Demands

Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
