We are seeking a Back Office Medical Assistant in an outpatient medical/surgical dermatology practice.

Location: Arcadia, CA

Salary: $18+ hourly, depending on related experience and office duties

Hours: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm

Job Description:

We are seeking a Back Office Medical Assistant in an outpatient medical/surgical dermatology practice in Arcadia, CA. We work with a diverse patient population of different backgrounds and insurance coverage. Familiarity in Mandarin Chinese is particularly helpful. We use ModMed EMA as our office EMR.

Back Office Medical Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

rooming of patients

taking and recording patient vital signs

eliciting patient medical histories

performing limited transcription

photographing cutaneous findings

setting up trays for minor procedures contacting patients for test results
