Job Title: Billing Specialist

About the role:

PBS Facility Services is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in accurately and efficiently managing the billing process. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely and accurate invoicing, monitor outstanding accounts, resolve billing discrepancies, and provide exceptional customer service to our customers. What you will do:

Prepare and process accurate and timely invoices for labor services rendered across multiple entities, ensuring adherence to company policies and customer requirements.

Verify billing data and reconcile any discrepancies or missing information.

Generate, dispatch and print work order checks for 1099 staff.

Provide exceptional customer service and resolving billing-related queries promptly.

Reconcile customer accounts.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records and documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and customer information.

Prepare regular reports on billing activities for management review.

Assist with other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.

What it takes to be successful:

Required: Minimum 1-2 years of Quickbooks billing experience

Required: Intermediate to advanced MS Excel user

Required: Data management using big data, large spreadsheets

Preferred: Experience importing and exporting spreadsheets to and from ERP

Preferred: Zoho Finance or similar

Degree in accounting or related field is preferred.

Proven work experience in a similar role, preferably a related industry.

Strong understanding of billing principles, invoicing processes, and financial concepts.

Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong organizational and time management skills, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Customer-focused mindset and the ability to provide outstanding service to customers.
