An Exciting Opportunity:

RISA is seeking a driven and collaborative HR Business Partner to join our team in Foothill Ranch, CA. This is a great opportunity for a professional who has an interested in growing the impact of the people function. The HR Business Partner reports directly to the CEO and will be responsible for scaling and supporting our People Initiatives. You will help foster an engaged team of professionals, support and enhance our culture, and resolve challenges in our growing organization.

The Initiatives you will champion:

Talent acquisition:

Assist managers in identifying position requirements;

Place job postings, screen resumes, interview candidates, coordinate background checks & testing and participate in hiring decisions;

Compliance:

Maintain practices, policies and procedures in compliance with State and Federal rules and regulations;

Coordinate the publishing and updating of the company employee handbook;

Administer leaves of absence (CFRA, PDL, WC, etc.);

Assist managers and employees with employee relations issues and maintain consistency in the application of Company policies and procedures;

Assist managers with termination process and conduct exit interviews as needed.

Performance:

Coordinate performance review, SMART Goals and salary review processes;

Assist managers career development and retention initiatives;

Provide support to managers in addressing and documenting employees’ performance issues;

Assist managers with the selection and implementation of training initiatives.

Culture:

Develop and coordinate an on-boarding process that helps create and cement the Company culture;

Administer employee recognition and award program in consultation with team leaders;

Maintain and administer total reward programs and relationships with brokers and TPAs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent;

A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience as a Generalist or HR Business Partner;

Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;

Strong attention to details;

Strong organizational and project management skills;

Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws;

Experience in examining and re-engineering procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new processes;

Experience working with and implementing HRIS systems;

PHR or SHRM-cp designations desired.
