Role: HR Data Analyst

Requirement:

Bachelor's degree, Business Analytics/Statistics/Data Science, or a related field.

Proven experience as an HR Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.

Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or other statistical software.

Solid understanding of HR processes, policies, and best practices.

Familiarity with Workday and its data structure.

Proficient in data manipulation, cleaning, and transformation techniques.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Knowledge of data governance principles and data protection regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection and Analysis:

Gather, organize, and analyze HR data from various sources, including HRIS, employee surveys, performance evaluations, and other relevant systems.

Conduct data cleaning, validation, and manipulation to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Develop and maintain data dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate HR metrics and trends.

2. HR Metrics and Reporting:

Identify and track key HR metrics, such as employee turnover, recruitment effectiveness, diversity and inclusion, and employee engagement.

Prepare regular reports and presentations to HR management and other stakeholders, highlighting trends, patterns, and actionable insights derived from HR data analysis.

Collaborate with HR business partners to identify data needs and design customized reports to support their decision-making processes.

3. Data Interpretation and Insight Generation:

Conduct advanced statistical analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and trends in HR data.

Provide meaningful insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve HR processes, policies, and strategies.

Assist in forecasting future HR trends and their potential impact on the organization.

4. Data Governance and Compliance:

Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with data protection regulations.

Develop and implement data governance procedures and best practices for HR data management.

Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices related to HR analytics and data management.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with other teams, such as Finance, Operations, and IT, to integrate HR data with other organizational data for comprehensive analysis.

Work closely with HR stakeholders to understand their analytical requirements and provide actionable insights to support their decision-making processes.
