SAS Consultant

Position Description

Required Skills:

7+ years of relevant IT experience

Primary Responsibilities

Utilize the SAS support website ( and SAS documentation for installation setup and troubleshooting

Maintain LSF operations on the SAS GRID and monitored Job Count, Memory and CPU health using RTM for LSF

Troubleshoot Process manager and GFS2 issues

Responsible for Hotfix implementation on Test and Prod Metadata, mid-tier and compute tiers to resolve performance issues.

Identify and provision for EOL software technologies

Participate in audit and compliance issues related to SAS environments

Support SAS9.4M7

Apply updates, patches and maintenance releases

Skills/ Competency – Additionally Preferred

Migration Experience from SAS9.4 M7 to M8

Experience in performing Version upgrades

Excellent communication skills
