The Sales Manager is responsible for securing sales contracts to meet or surpass budgeted revenue as well as in developing and maintaining business relationships with current and potential clients and guests of Quest Hotel & Conference Center Cebu.

Solicits business for the hotel, meets budget targets, and achieves room-night and revenue objectives.

Prepares, develops and facilitates implementation of sales plan, strategies and itineraries.

Handles guest inquiries, establishes contact with clients, processes sales leads, assesses specific needs and requirements of clients and offers, sells and promotes the services, facilities, promos and packages of the Hotel.

Coordinates, prepares reports and records, facilitates processing of proposals and contracts, clarifies details and negotiates inclusions, arrangements by pricing and other pertinent details necessary to facilitate closing of sales deals.

Interprets and observes prevailing rates scheme and adapts sales strategies for improving revenue of rooms, food and beverage, packages, banquet and other services of the Hotel.

Coordinates, assists, monitors status and prepares records to address guest inquiries on specific requirements for the account

Implements action plans related to specific market areas as outlined in the marketing plan.

Reports to the Director of Sales any complaints, comments or suggestions received from guests or the general public that may improve the services and products of Quest Hotel & Conference Center

Manages and constantly evaluates sales accounts according to the frequency of sales calls made and amount of business generated.

Ensures rate quoted and committed to clients are within specified guidelines.

Conducts market surveys and gathers marketing intelligence on competitors to pass on to Director of Sales so that he/she is kept will informed on market developments.

Maintains positive relationships with travel agents, commercial accounts, and other sources of business for the Hotel.

Negotiates with travel agents, tour operators, wholesalers, airliners, and other customers are designated by the Director of Sales. - Determines what should constitute the Hotels VIP Guest or Special Treatment services.

Responds to inquiries within 24 hours of receipt of the inquiry.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree holder in hospitality or tourism management.

Have proven track record with minimum of 3 years sales or related experience with progressive managerial responsibilities.

Excellent command of the English language.

Demonstrates in-depth sales & marketing techniques and financial principles.

Effective ability to communicate orally or in written form with co-management, internal and external customers.

Natural flair for sales and is energetic.

Amenable to work in Muntinlupa City.
