Catering Driver

Job Description

Summary: Delivers food and beverage using catering delivery truck to catered functions. Prepares pack-out and delivers food at scheduled functions. Sets up and breaks down functions. Returns leftover food and equipment to the Catering Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Safely and punctually deliver catering orders to various event locations, ensuring the food arrives in pristine condition.

Exhibit professionalism and excellent customer service when interacting with clients.

Delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to the scheduled locations - breakfast, lunch & dinners

Arranges tables and decorations.

Sets buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to standards

Pick-up -unserved foods and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to the Catering Department.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A positive attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

A valid driver's license is required. Must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol server's permit where required by state law.

Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred.

Ensure the physical stamina required for lifting and carrying heavy containers and equipment up to 50lbs

Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills with both internal and external employees/clients.
