Bartender

Job Description

North American Concessions in Chicago, IL is looking for an experienced Bartender to join our strong team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working. This position is located inside of Midway Airport. Tipped Position

Responsibilities

Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages

Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks

Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations

Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails

Plan and present bar menu

Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age

Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience

Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Restaurant cleanliness

Qualifications

Proven working experience as a bartender

Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks

Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus

Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

Relevant training certificate

Illinois Basset

Illinois Food Handlers certificate

Allergen Certificate

Must be able to pass a federal background check in order to get badged to work in the airport

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $9.65/hour.
