STOCKROOM

Job Description

We are seeking a STOCKROOM to join our team! This position purchases, receives materials and parts into the facility, maintaining inventory records, and dispensing the parts and materials to other departments within the company.

Responsibilities:

Source vendors to identify best prices, quality and delivery available for purchases, and develop new supply sources as necessary

Purchase targeted materials as required or requested; Track delivery of existing orders and resolve problem shipments

Receive, distribute, and track store merchandise

Ensures timely and accurate receipt of inbound purchases and repairs

· Responsible for maintaining accurate computerized inventory and handling vendor discrepancy resolutions

· Ensures that Company inventory and materials are properly accounted for and binned per industry standards

· Prepares materials needed for daily maintenance readiness and redistribution

· Ensure regulatory compliance with shipping, receiving, storing of hazardous materials, including employee awareness and training requirements

· Performs additional functions (essential or otherwise) which may be assigned from time to time

· Stacking goods in the correct storage bins, following inventory control instructions

· Checking loads are secure

· Loading and unloading foods from vehicles and/or trucks

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in general labor, customer service or related fields

Computer proficient in MS office and general internet applications

Strong attention to detail
