Job Title: Senior Buyer

Location: Southwest Houston. Near Stafford / Sugar Land

Magnum Staffing Services is currently hiring a Senior Buyer to become part of a dynamic team. This opportunity is at a prominent manufacturer specializing in critical remote power supplies, renowned for their dedication to quality and innovation.

The Buyer position works directly with the Materials Director and entails daily management and execution of procurement activities.

Job Description: As a Senior Buyer, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Identifying and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.

Negotiating contracts and improving terms of business.

Managing supplier relationships and evaluating supplier performance.

Conducting market research to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Collaborating with internal teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or buying in a manufacturing environment.

Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, Proficient in supply chain management software and MS Office.
