EHS Specialist

EHS Specialist/Environmental/Health/Safety/EHS/Engineering/Chemicals/Occupational Safety Specialist/CSP/PSM/Chemical Engineering

As an EHS Specialist job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Plan and enforce health and safety site action plans, strategies, guidelines, and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Identify areas of possible hazards and implement corrective actions

Perform safety and emergency response trainings as needed

Participate in continuous improvement of health and safety performance

Assist in site audits, reporting, orientations, investigations, and inspections

As an EHS Specialist job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

BS in Occupational Safety, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or other related Sciences

5+ years of hands-on experience in a chemical manufacturing facility

5+ years of experience in Health and Safety

Familiarity with industry practices, regulatory agency requirements and standards in a manufacturing environment

Certified Safety Professional is a plus
