Our client is a specialty chemical manufacturer of consumer goods products. They are in search of an EHS Specialist with a focus on site safety to ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and industry regulations/standards.

As the EHS Specialist job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Site safety training and coaching of employees on safe work behaviors

Collaborate with other departments on process improvements for site safety

Manage compliance of regulatory programs and safety procedures

Manage siteâ s PSM program

Drive safety risk assessment and develop/implement appropriate controls

Lead and facilitate process hazard analysis

As an EHS Specialist job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

Bachelorâ s degree in Engineering, Industrial Safety, or Natural Sciences

3-5 years of safety experience in a manufacturing setting, chemicals preferred

Extensive knowledge of safety regulations and policies

Previous experience working in a PSM regulated facility

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
