Salary: 70K-80K Annually

OVERALL POSITION SUMMARY

The Inside Sales Representative II is a sales role primarily responsible for developing and servicing new business opportunities with OEM’s through authorized distribution channels in partnership with the BIVAR Fields Sales team and documenting activity in Salesforce. This sales position may support the Inside Sales Manager, and the Field Sales team, to qualify and field inbound inquiries, as well as outreach target accounts to share information, identify business potential, and cultivate new business opportunities to drive revenue growth. Secondary responsibilities include managing strategic established business, order entry, and general business management.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify, cultivate and close deals that bring new business revenue to BIVAR for assigned region/s, operate with a strong sense of Opportunity Ownership, in coordination with the Field Sales Team.

Nurtures strategic relationships with authorized distribution partners or potential customers to assist in the development of a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting for assigned region.

Understand Organizational and Departmental Targets and strive to achieve Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Sales Targets/ Goals for bookings, shipments and New Business Growth for assigned region.

Maintain and manage account base including quoting, order entry, and various activities related to maintaining business for assigned region.

Coordinate with Field Sales to evaluate potential sales opportunities; provide product information and support in upselling.

Reach out to customers to promote new and existing products, handle customer requests, or provide essential account management services.

Provide support for Inside Sales Manager, National Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager and Manufacturer Rep Firms.

Developing and maintaining key relationships with our partner distributors and customers by maintaining data and utilizing Bivar resources and tools, such as NetSuite, SharePoint, Salesforce, and HubSpot.

Fielding of Inbound Sales inquiries and proactively engaging with new and current business opportunities by initiating customer calls, emails and inquiries.

Communicate in a competent manner by exhibiting professional email and phone etiquette with both internal and external customers.

Work as a Team via collaboration and cooperation to produce high quality results. Including covering for fellow team members who are absent to maintain a high level of customer service.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Active engagement and participation as an employee owner.

Additional duties and responsibilities as requested by Supervisor.

Perform routine support tasks such as quotes, expedites, processing renewals and sales orders

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

BA/BS in Business or related professional experience preferred.

Minimum 5 years of Electronics Industry experience.

Experience in Electronics Distribution

Sales and proven customer relationship development experience.

Recent business development and/or account management and customer service experience

Ability to display a sense of urgency.

Computer literacy: Ability to utilize Salesforce and NetSuite in a proficient manner.

Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
