Clinic Clerk’s Responsibilities
Answer incoming phone calls, check in/outpatients, schedule appointments, and assist around the clinic.
Complete data entry and evaluate eligibility documents for residency, identification, income, and immunizations.
Explain WIC Program procedures, use of Texas WIC card, and food benefits to clients.
Conduct community outreach and provide referrals for clients needing services not provided by WIC.
Clinic Clerk’s Qualifications
A High School Diploma or GED is required.
One (1) year of clinical or administrative work experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
Translation services are to be provided; any language other than English is required.
EMR: Epic experience and Adobe Pro are a strong plus.
