Certified Medical Assistant- Evening Shift

Salary: $25-$27/hour DOE

About Us:

Red Balloon Pediatric Urgent Care is a pediatric urgent care designed to meet the needs of our community by offering evening and weekend hours, providing care to children with minor illness or injury. Red Balloon is open 7 days per week from 3p-11p and is located in Edina, MN.

If you are passionate about caring for children and want to be part of an exciting new private medical practice, look no further! We are currently seeking qualified full-time and part-time Medical Assistants to join our team.

Responsibilities:

- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care

- Perform administrative tasks such as checking patients in and maintaining patient records

- Conduct initial patient assessments and record vital signs

- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers

- Perform laboratory duties including specimen collection and processing

- Conduct phlebotomy procedures with precision and care

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and protocols

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Completion of a Medical Assistant program

- Pediatrics experience is preferred

- Experience with labs and phlebotomy is highly desirable

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Detail-oriented and organized

- Current CPR certification

Schedule Options:

- Part-time or Full-time positions available

- Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
