A local career assistance company has an onsite wellness clinic that is hiring an experienced HWD, RN. Pay:

$41.50/hr for first 3 months, with a pay increase upon hire

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 7:30a-4:30p

Primary Objectives as a Health and Wellness Director (RN):

Directs staff engaged in providing health services for all students and ensures departmental programs and standards meet all DOL, PRH, Center and Company requirements. Manages the delivery of health services, support, and education that will enhance student employability and help students maintain a healthy lifestyle. Ensures that quality health services are delivered in a professional, caring, and cost-effective manner. Focuses on wellness and disease prevention. Provides education on becoming “Fit for Work”. Oversees the accommodation of students with disabilities; coordinates with appropriate medical and center staff. Ensures that quality health services are delivered in a professional, caring, and cost-effective manner.

Position Competencies:

Presents information both clearly and concisely and regularly confirms correct interpretation of information

Very high standard of communication skills both written and oral for the presentation of facts and ideas • Written communication must be clear, concise, easy to read and comprehend Organization of Work

Demonstrate the ability to handle several projects simultaneously

Implement the key principles of time management, task allocation and priority assignment in addition to personal organization

Continually seek ways to improve the service provided via development of professional skills and personal growth

Initiate and respond to suggestions for improving service

Qualifications:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Office applications including Word, Power Point, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat

Ability to show patience and compassion when providing nursing services to patients who may have negative emotion
