Supply Chain Logistics Analyst

This is a remote position.

As a Supply Chain Logistics Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing the logistics and transportation processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for continuous improvement in logistics operations.

Requirements

Core Task:

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Analyze logistics data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and communicate logistics performance.

Route Optimization:

Evaluate and optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and improve delivery timelines.

Collaborate with carriers and third-party logistics providers to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.

Inventory Management:

Work closely with inventory and warehouse teams to streamline inventory movements and reduce holding costs.

Implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and minimize stock outs.

Cost Analysis and Budgeting:

Conduct cost analysis on transportation and logistics operations.

Assist in developing and managing logistics budgets to optimize costs while maintaining service levels.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction in logistics operations.

Implement and monitor initiatives to enhance overall logistics efficiency and responsiveness.

Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, or a similar role.

Proficiency in using inventory management software and advanced knowledge of Excel.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
