Position Summary: The USUP Divisional Controller is responsible for supporting all USUP locations with all aspects of accounting and finance.

This individual would also have a key role in administrative matters impacting USUP and providing input into business matters effecting its operations.

This person would also be responsible for overseeing the accounting and reporting for each of the USUP locations and on a consolidated basis into Driverge Vehicle Innovations (Driverge) and WMK..

She/He will assist and support all departments including sales, marketing, service and production and maintain regular communication with Driverge and WMK Support Center personnel.

Essential Job Functions and Duties: Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for each location and consolidated USUP Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations on financial results, cost trends and key performance indicators (KPIs) Perform detailed financial analysis on account balances at period end Proactively track and control costs, identifying savings opportunities and proposing strategies to optimize spending Oversee the daily operations of the accounting and finance function Manage Accounts Receivable responsibilities including daily deposits for all departments, account reconciliation, collection calls as needed, and required paperwork submittals to state and federal accounts for payment.

Develop annual budget, financial forecasts, and periodic reports for management Collaborate closely with operations and functional departments to collect and analyze KPI’s Work closely with Support Center team members in the preparation of annual tax returns, R&D credit claims and complete sales tax returns and other government remittances Ensure accounting policies and procedures are implemented Review and maintain inventory standards, monitor, and record variances timely Manage and coordinate cycle count and/or physical inventories as directed Evaluate current accounting processes, propose recommendations for improvements and implement new processes where needed Handle monthly petty cash reconciliation, credit card statements, gas log statements, expense reports, and check requests as needed Ability to manage all relationships with vendors, customers, and suppliers Must maintain working knowledge of all products and services provided by the company to our customers Adhere to all company policies and procedures, OSHA and other safety regulations, and all state mandated regulations.

Position Qualifications and Entrance Requirements: A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Accounting/Finance A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration Solid knowledge of financial controls and cost accounting Required Skills/Abilities: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and plan work activities, strong time management skills, and developing realistic action plans Mastery of accounting and financial management tools and software Experience with an MRP system implementation, particularly with Microsoft Business Central Ability to prioritize and plan work activities, strong time management skills, and developing realistic action plans Must have demonstrable competency with Microsoft applications Candidates must successfully complete criminal and motor vehicle background check Physical Demands/Work Environment: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times Participate in required trainings or meetings, as necessary Employment Type: Full Time
