About the Position

At Goodwin Living, our cooks provide a pleasurable dining experience for residents by preparing high quality food. They manage all aspects of food preparation and production in an environment that meets sanitation guidelines.

This position pays $20/hr-$23/hr and we are asking for someone who can work weekends

Job Duties

Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen station.

Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks.

Plating prepared foods based on the chef’s guidance.

Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time.

Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations.

Job Requirements

High school degree or equivalent

Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Experience as line cook in a Health Care Facility is a plus
