Surgical Dental Assistant

Job Description

Assist with monitoring intravenous conscious sedation, general anesthesia and nitrous oxide.

Greet and seat patients, while retrieving an updated medical history, take vitals and chart notes and treatment plans.

Responsible for patient’s daily flow and keep treatment rooms clean, organized and stocked for the day.

Take conebeam ct-scans, panoramic etc. xrays.

Prepare procedural trays.

Proper sterilization of instruments, breakdown and disinfection of treatment rooms and sterilization area.

Maintain OSHA and certification trainings.

Assist with all consultations, prepare and educate patients on procedures.

Review pre/post op instructions with all patients.

Maintain proper patient care and professionalism during procedures.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Great organizational skills and attention to detail.

Answer all clinical calls and emails.
