What You Will Do:
The Guidehouse’s Energy, Sustainability, and Infrastructure (ES&I) practice provides technical and strategic planning, analysis, and implementation support related to energy technologies, policies, and initiatives for the public sector including the Department of Energy.
As a Managing Consultant on our team you will support and lead engagement with communities impacted by the energy transition. Specific responsibilities may include:
Supporting federal energy clients with design, formulation, and implementation of efforts to engage communities as partners on their programs
Work across a broad variety of energy technology deployment and communities across the country
Lead stakeholder engagement workstreams including developing engagement strategies, developing engagement content, supporting stakeholder workshops, and tracking engagement
Providing detailed research and analysis on communities
Preparing reports and other deliverables for clients
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
5 - 7 years of directly related working experience
Experience related to any of the following: grid and utility programs, hydrogen, carbon capture, energy efficiency and industrial decarbonization or other energy technologies
Experience with community-level engagement
Experience building and/or executing stakeholder engagement or communications plans
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel 25%
Must currently reside in the USA

The salary range for this role may vary based on relevant degree, work experience and physical location at time of hire
