ConsultANZ is seeking Aluminum Welders to work for a well established, design, engineering and manufacturing company based in Victoria, Australia.

Main Duties

Your duties will include but not limited to:

Fabrication of structural components from detailed drawings

Fabrication/Welding of technically advanced super yacht structures

Welding of Aluminum structures and components, including seam welding to meet IMO standards.

Maintain, set up and adjust welding equipment to function correctly for different tasks

Study drawings to determine job requirements.

Cut, bend, shape, mould, or heat aluminum products to fabricate components and structures

Fit and assemble components by bolting or welding

Exam welds for width of bead, penetration and precision

Finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions

Cleaning and smoothing of weldsAbout you

A successful candidate will bring into the role:

3+ years welding experience

Trade qualification in welding

Experience in Fabrication of Aluminum and steel

Positive and hard work ethic

Team player

Ability to work in a team environment

Ability to take direction

Solid knowledge in welding
