Nurse Practitioner - Orthopedics

Multi-Specialty Group’s Orthopedic Department seeks to add a full-time Nurse Practitioner to their Orthopedic Urgent Care. The Nurse Practitioner will be working in an orthopedic urgent care clinic that will handle muscular skeletal injuries. The newly hired Nurse Practitioner will diagnose and treat common muscular skeletal problems. This is all clinic based. Common injuries include sprains, strains, fractures, wound care, and some post-op problems. Responsibilities include: H&P’s, injury evaluation, fracture reduction, aspirations, injections and providing patient education.

Successful Nurse Practitioners should be NCCPA-Certified. Candidates should have orthopedic fracture care experience. This is four 10-hour shifts per week (Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.). There is no call, but some Saturday rotations.

The location is in a very desirable area within the Las Vegas metro and surrounding areas. Compensation: Excellent compensation and production bonus plan. Additionally, there is a full benefits package provided which includes medical, dental, vision, life, vacation, one-week CME and allowance.
