Job Description
In the position of Compliance Specialist, you will operate as an expert on issues relating to the prevention of financial crime and all associated risk assessments.
Draft risk appetite statements on various financial crime topics, including sensitive countries, politically exposed persons, and sensitive industries.
Draft control framework on various financial crime topics such as anti-bribery and corruption and politically exposed persons .
Contact person for advice on internal guidelines and independent case processing in the areas of prevention of bribery/corruption, politically exposed persons and clients with increased risks.
Your responsibilities include the development, implementation, monitoring and enforcement of a globally applicable program to combat/prevent financial crime.
You are familiar with the challenges and solutions in the fight against financial crime and can explain relevant regulatory laws, industry standards of the financial sector and implement them in practice.
You train colleagues from business areas that are exposed to an increased risk of corruption and keep management informed of changes in risks arising from external processes related to financial crime.
You will be responsible for the preparation of reports, the Group-wide corporate risk assessment and the implementation of independent controls.
Your enjoyment of knowledge sharing will be reflected in the sharing of your expertise and will help to further strengthen the bank's risk culture.
Requirements
Your profile:
University degree in law, economics or finance
At least 5 years of experience in compliance at a private bank or wealth management division
Good conceptual and analytical skills
Good coordination and communication skills
Reliable, solution-oriented way of working and quick comprehension skills
Assertive team player
Fluent in German and English
