Purpose of the role The successful candidate will Manage and maintain retail IT infrastructure, business applications, hardware, software and related services or equipment essential to running the stores.

For example: DCOTA, POS machines, printers, CCTV, APs, etc.

The role will also include assisting in network and telephony infrastructure maintenance, build and support to the larger business and multiple sites within the company.

Responsibilities Mapping existing processes within the Network & VoIP vertical Gap analysis on existing/current process and procedures defined Design, Develop and implement, Measurements of execution and input Capacity Planning; measure and adjust capacity of the various networks.

Design and implement resilience or H/A on all networks where possible Telephony Security; make sure best practices are applied to the telephony services and peripherals Vendor management, relationship management, SLA, communications, Identify potential vendors and due diligence to determine most effective vendor or service provider offerings Strong collaboration with Network & Server Administrators, ERP team, BI team, etc Ensure for and manage store opening, rebuilds and closures in a timely fashion, involving relevant parties and tracking/reporting on progress.

Required skills and qualifications Completed Matric Completed degree or certificates in IT and related field focussing on support function.

Certification in Cisco Meraki, ITIL, Azure or Apple support would be an added advantage.

Proven experience in network and telephony infrastructure management, build and support for at least 5 years.

Previous experience working within a multi-layered company or infrastructure environment would be an added advantage.

Previous experience working with Apple products or providing support to Apple products would be an added advantage.
