What you will do-

As the Senior Counsel, Corporate and Securities, you will play a pivotal role in providing advice and counsel on securities matters, corporate governance, treasury matters, and mergers and acquisitions. Your expertise will be crucial in our cross-functional collaborations with various internal stakeholders, including Finance, Investor Relations, Tax, Treasury, Strategy/Corporate Development, and Corporate Communications.

How you will do it-

Ensuring compliance with Securities Laws, Listing Standards, and Best Practices in Corporate Governance

Provide support for legal aspects of the Company's acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and equity investments

Providing support on day-to-day tax-driven matters, as well as the corporate aspects of legal entity restructurings

Direct support for the maintenance of subsidiaries and joint ventures based in the United States and Canada, and indirect support related to the maintenance of other entities globally

What we look for-

Required

Law degree, be a licensed member of at least one U.S. state bar association

Minimum of 5 years of corporate and securities experience in a law firm, a large private or publicly traded corporation, or both

Preferred

Mergers and Acquisitions and other transactional experience
