Position Paint Production & Sales Manager
Reporting to: Manager ACE Home Services
Location: Johnson County KS, Field / Remote / Office
Were looking for an experienced and outstanding Paint Production & Sales Manager to sell and close painting projects, as well as oversee and manage the key elements of contracted painting projects. Growing the Painting Services business at Westlake Ace Hardware is a long-term growth strategy for our 100 plus year-old company. The successful PPSM will be experienced in leading and managing painters and contract paint crews, bidding residential and light commercial painting projects which involve partial or whole house interior and exterior painting. We will also count on you to bring together our painters and admin team, to deliver excellent results to our clients. You will assist in lead generation by leveraging our long- standing brand in the market through our retail stores and our robust marketing platform backed by our parent company Ace Hardware. The individual in this role will work closely with the office manager, who assists in ordering and scheduling, as well as client and painter communications, and job-site management.
We need a positive enthusiastic professional who can take the initiative to get the job done and done well. Your compensation package starts with a base salary in the range of $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year plus bonus and commission. You will also be issued a company vehicle and will be reimbursed for fuel for business purposes. Additional responsibilities include:
Recruitment of qualified paint crews
Review contracted jobs with office manager to assist with creation of work schedule
Assignment of paint crews based on job scope and skill-matching
Regular site walk-throughs conducted at job start and throughout completion to update the homeowner, assure quality, and to keep
painters apprised of any updates
Negotiating labor-bid prices with paint crews
Solving problems with paint crews and office manager during jobs to ensure jobs are delivered on time and profitably
Conducting spot-bidding for additional work orders
Recruiting, screening and maintaining working relationships with painters while keeping quality control at a high standard.
Building client rapport and working to ensure satisfaction throughout any given project
Executing the overall business strategy for this and other service verticals we are pursuing

Essential Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience in the construction or painting industry
Active Drivers License, insurance, and clear driving record
Ability to legally work in the U.S.
Preferred qualification:
Degree in construction or related field preferred
Minimum 3 years management experience
Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
