Qualifications:

High school diploma

2 years minimum experience in the Aerospace Industry

2 years minimum experience in purchasing, quality control, or document control

Experience with quality control techniques such as Six Sigma

Must have above average written and verbal communication skills

Ability to build sustainable supplier relationships

Ability to maintain high level of professionalism

Advanced computer skills

Self-motivated and well organized

Able to complete tasks in a timely manner

Job Description:

Inspect

Inspect and approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials

Document inspection results by completing receiving inspection reports

Perform inspections and evaluations of supplier Certificates of Conformance (COC)

Scan and maintain electronic database of suppler COC's

Resolve product and/or COC nonconformances with suppliers over the phone, in person and/or via email

Quality

Initiate nonconformances for failed inspections

Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.

Adhere to company policies and procedures

Provide feedback to supervisor pertaining to inspection and COC issues
