Water Technologies Technician: Service, trouble shoot, improve water treatment accounts and to look for new contract & sales opportunities for Boland.

Essential Duties:

- Maintain and create client relationships.

- Prepare and submit work tickets / service reports after each regular service call

- Service accounts on a monthly schedule

- Schedule appointments with clients.

- Keep track of legionella testing schedules and corrosion coupon testing schedules.

- Pull water samples, properly fill out chain of custody forms and ship them.

- Be able to install all water treatment equipment. Calibrate and program chemicals and controllers.

- Keep all jobsite water treatment stations clean and in good working order.

- Load van with 50lbs pails of chemicals.

- Estimate the cost of installations

- Help with chemically cleaning chillers, heat exchangers and installations.

- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent experience and education

- Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Understand basic water chemistry, install and program conductivity controls systems preferred

- Preferred 1 - 3 years of experience in HVAC, water treatment, chemicals, or plumbing related industry

- Knowledgeable in MS Office and Outlook

- Strong communication skills, dependable, interpersonal skills with clients, organized, responsive

- Strong listening skills, motivated to learn, proactive, inquisitive

Physical Requirements:

- Mobility within office & job sites

- Ability to lift & carry up to 50lbs regularly & occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs

- Willing to travel locally as required

- Frequent visits to job sites

- Specific vision required by this job include ability to see colors, close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
