Job Summary:

Macke Motors Inc., a leading automotive dealership in LAKE CITY, Iowa, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Quick Lube Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, and the ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role. As a Quick Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing basic maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring their safe and efficient operation. This is an individual contributor role, and you will report directly to the Service Manager.

Responsibilities:

- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other basic maintenance services on vehicles

- Inspect vehicles for any potential issues and make recommendations for additional repairs or services

- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot issues

- Conduct fluid level checks and top off as needed

- Follow all safety and environmental regulations

- Keep a clean and organized work area

- Communicate with the Service Manager regarding any issues or concerns

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience as a Quick Lube Technician or in a similar role preferred

- Knowledge of basic automotive maintenance and repairs

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines

- Good communication and customer service skills

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

- Must have own tools and tool storage
