Due to recent growth, we are seeking a to hire a Professional Engineer (Civil) to join our team to assist in sealing documents.

Responsibilities:

Act as PE for organization business licensing purposes

Review civil plans

Review testing reports and photo documentation

Seal/Certify stormwater facility installation as-builts

Seal/Certify stormwater maintenance reports

Seal/Certify performance bond reduction applications

Seal/Certify other civil related documents as needed

Qualifications:

Licensed P.E., huge if a P.E. in VA, DC and MD or willingness to become a P.E. in VA, MD and DC. Ideally have a P.E. (or willing to obtain) in all of the following states:

Must be legal to work for any U.S. Employer (i.e., citizenship, green card holder etc.) No sponsorships will be offered for this full time position.

Minimum of 1-year experience in either civil design/engineering, transportation planning/engineering, geotechnical engineering or civil construction/materials testing, or some other design related discipline associated with land development or real estate development projects

Basic understanding of or desire to learn the basics of how the land development design process works

Experience in land development projects (to some capacity) is highly preferred
